“The Book of Wind” Updates & New Short Story

The Quest for the Crystals: The Book of Wind – the first novelette in a series of five – is now available on Wattpad, to read for free. Check it out, here!

Also, as a bonus, check out my newest short story, “The Poots”, also on Wattpad. Check it out, here!

The Quest for the Crystals: The Book of Wind

If you follow me on Wattpad, you’ve probably seen an unfinished little thing called “The Quest for the Crystals: The Book of Wind” kicking around on my profile page for the last couple of months. I took it down recently, and finished writing the manuscript — and am now deciding what to do with it.

The book, split up into five separate volumes (Wind, Earth, Fire, Water, and Spirit), follows a skunk named Regina as she finds herself hostage to a “heretic” who is fighting the government, bent on using the planets five elemental crystals of balance for means of economical power.

Without giving too much away, I think it’s a neat little story, and it’s something I’ve always wanted to write. After a final draft read-through, I’ll likely post the first part of the series on Wattpad — and then later on either Smashwords, or Kindle Direct Publishing.

I’ll keep you guys updated on the progress. :)

Heiress in Paperback

Hey guys,

I’ve been dinking around on Lulu for a little bit, and I think it’s about time I explore the possibilities of making my dreams come true: Heiress: The Master of Monsters in an actual physical format.

Nothing is yet concrete (mostly because I’m a broke college kid), but Lulu’s affordable prices make making a physical copy of the book a true possibility.

Despite having gone through the book with a magnifying glass and a red pen about 100 times before its e-book release, I’m still finding GOD DAMN FUCKING typos, grammatical errors, and other little annoying things. So my biggest goal besides getting a paperback version of Heiress on the market is to make sure the thing is P.E.R.F.E.C.T.

Obviously as a writer, it’s difficult to edit your own work, no matter many times you find stuff wrong with it — so I may have to get someone else to go through the book with me to find the typos and errors.

In any case, please check back (all three of you!)  for more information on the coming work of Heiress’s transition to paperback, where it belongs.

Sterilized Dirt, The Mud Puddle, and Stupid Shit Gamers Say now with RSS Feeds

Just a quick update, letting you guys know that you can now subscibe to RSS feeds for all three blogs.

The fact that I just now figured out what RSS feeds are today clearly shows both my age and technological ignorance, but ah well.

Once again, visit The Mud Puddle and Stupid Shit Gamers Say on the links off to the side over thar ——>

Enjoy!

Whole Buncha Updates!!

Hey guys.

So sorry I haven’t been on the ball updating the site as often as I should be. There’s a yellow brick road paved with excuses as to why I haven’t been around, but a lot of it has to do with college. Anyway, I got a lot of stuff to throw at you, so get your potato sacks wide open!

FIRST AND FOREMOST: HEIRESS FOR SALE
Heiress: The Master of Monsters is FINALLY for sale on Smashwords for only $1.99 USD. It has been available for a while, but for some strange reason I never got around to updating the link on the official page, so here. In order to purchase the book off of Smashwords, you’re gonna have to make an account — but the great thing is that Smashwords offers e-book downloads for just about EVERY e-reader format. And as soon as you purchase the book once, it’s yours to download in any format as many times as you want.

If you don’t want to go and do that, you can also find the e-book for sale on Barnes and Noble’s website for their Nook reader.

SECONDLY: NEW PERSONAL BLOG
I started up a couple blogs for my web-writing class last semester, and enjoyed writing and dinking around on them so much that even though I really don’t have the time to, I’d like to continue contributing to them. Check ‘em out!

THIRDLY: THE QUEST FOR THE CRYSTALS
If you’re following me on Twitter or Wattpad, you’ll know that I’ve started work on a five-part mini series, called The Quest for the Crystals. It was originally supposed to be a single volume, but because I’m so busy, and I’d love to finish off a couple other projects, it would be easier for me to produce five separate novellas (the first of which can be accessed through Wattpad).

Like Heiress, the Wattpad version of “Quest”‘s first volume, titled “The Book of Wind”, is a beta version. The final, which will be uploaded onto Smashwords in the future, will be a totally polished product, likely with added bonus content.

I really want to make “Quest” a fun and rewarding read, so if you guys have any comments or suggestions as the mini series progresses, please feel free to drop a line at the Wattpad page.

FOURTH AND FINALLY: FACEBOOK FAN PAGE

For all you social butterflies on the Internet, I started up a Facebook fan page in an attempt to “brand” myself. I don’t personally have a Facebook page you can Friend Request, but you can “Like” the Fan Page and — well — you probably already know how this stuff works! :)

I’ll be updating the progress of my work, as well as posting notices of new blog articles, and other such interesting things there.
