I’m not very good at this whole blogging-on-a-regular-basis thing. But I have a few new projects on the go, and thought it would be lovely to share.
At the moment, I’m working on a novella, which originally started out as a short story. It’s a psychological thriller about an unsolved case in regards to the mysterious murder of a boy’s father. The leading inspector on the original case takes up the helm of the re-opened file. The story is progressing at a fairly steady pace. Although I keep hitting transitional obstacles. Oh well. The one positive is that those obsticals provide an excuse for me to explore further character development.
I’m also trying my hand at the indy video game industry! It’s a Role Playing Game based on an idea I had while writing The Master of Monsters. No idea how long it’ll take to complete, or if I’ll ever complete it, but I’m up for the challenge, and so far, I’ve felt pretty rewarded by it. It’s essentially about a boy stumbles upon a cursed sword that spawns legions of monsters throughout the world.
I’ve also got some opinion pieces that I’ve written for my college newspaper. I’ll post those in the coming future. Perhaps it’ll spark me to start writing regularly on a weekly basis. 😉
